Wolf Creek Amphitheater will be hiring part-time seasonal event staff employees to work events in various departments.  Event Staff includes ticket takers, ushers, security, cleaning, parking, guest ambassadors and box office.     

 

All open positions are for part-time work on event days during the concert season that generally runs from May through October.  Some positions require passing a background check.  Starting hourly rates may vary by department and experience.

 

Event Staff includes parking attendants, ticket takers, ushers, security, guest services, cleaning attendants and box office.  Below are descriptions for each area.

 

Parking:

The Parking Staff direct vehicles as they enter and exit the parking lots.  They also greet guests when possible and help to inform guests of prohibited articles so they can return them to their vehicle.  Parking Staff also ensure only appropriate vehicles are parked in restricted areas.

Security:

Security staff ensure that guests, artists, vendors, and employees at the facility have a safe and memorable experience.  They will manage the flow of people into and out of the facility.  Security staff will ensure the property of the facility, artists, and their personnel are protected.  In addition, they ensure individuals without the appropriate credentials are not allowed into restricted areas.  Security assists in the management of incidents that may occur.  They also manage unruly or disruptive individuals.

Ushers:

Ushers provide the primary level of guest assistance and service through friendly and courteous interaction with guests.  They are also assigned the task of maintaining order during events.  Ushers are assigned to a specific position or a designated location to assists guests in finding their seats; restrict access to the reserved seating area to authorized ticket holders; and to enforce crowd control functions.

Ticket Takers:

Ticket takers greet all guests with a warm and courteous welcome while controlling the access to the facility through designated entries.  These employees verify tickets by scanning the barcode as well as enforcing all policies of the venue.  Ticket Takers will also assist guests by giving the appropriate direction to the guests seating location.

Cleaning:

Event cleaning team ensures the venue is clean before, during and after all events.  The team stocks paper supplies in the bathrooms, removes trash and promotes our recycling program.  Cleaning team will manages the basic maintenance of the entire venue including all public access and nonpublic access areas.   

Guest Services:

Provide information such as directions, lost items or child procedures, venue policies, etc.  Guest Services resolves guests’ complaints or facilitate a resolution by bringing the guests to the appropriate Team member or supervisor.  They coordinate with all departments to ensure the event runs smoothly.  

Box Office:

The box office personnel prepare events for sale, manage and sell tickets to the event.  They handle all Ticketmaster, Artist or VIP Will Call distribution on event day.  The box office staff answers any questions regarding seating and ticketing and troubleshoots ticketing issues with other event staff team members.
